It is not who is doing the monitoring, but what is done about the fraud after it is discovered. Experian does the checking for themselves as well as Lifelock, but if you are paying for Lifelock, Experian sends them the info and LifeLock then takes all the extra steps of contacting you and resolving the fraud to protect your identity, while Experian just sends you an email or text message and leaves it up to you to do all the foot work that LifeLock does for you, so even though Experian does all the monitoring, LifeLock does all the work for you when attempted fraud is detected.

All Lifelock does is ask Experian to monitor your credit for them. So what the hell are you talking about?

You charged my card as well without me signing up or with my permission. I'll be contacting my bank to dispute and deny this charge. Nice business practice.
